Black Ops Killings too realistic

Last year Modern Warfare 2 shocked the world with being on the moral edge. This year, Treyarch had to tone down some of the killing animations. Also, Vahn in Major Nelson's PodCast.

Dave Anthony, game director at Treyarch, told Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM) that the new facial capture meant some kills were actually too realistic and that they had to be toned down. With a mature rated game like Black Ops, you would think this would not be a problem but according to animations director Dominique Drozdz it was. "There were situations going too far. It was a contextual kill where you were twisting the neck. It was too much. The throat cutting is nasty, but that was worse." he told OPM.
